One idea OBSERVATION
The single most interesting thing in what investors said publicly this quarter — not a recommendation, and not a prediction.
Long-duration Treasuries split the room, but the bears talk a bigger game than they play.
68 investors, including David Rosenberg and Jim Bianco, are bullish on long-duration Treasuries, and 8 of them actually hold the position. 78 investors, including Kate Moore and Keith McCullough, are bearish, but only 2 of them hold it. The bearish camp outnumbers the bullish camp in voices, yet is thinner on investors who have actually put capital behind that view.
Counted from the corpus: LONG_DUR_TREASURIES splits the room: 68 bullish (8 positioned) against 78 bearish (2 positioned).

Has this worked? OBSERVATION
Every convergence we have ever flagged, priced from the next session’s open and measured against SPY over the same window — 291 of them at 60 sessions.
Average +0.74% vs SPY, but the median was 0.00% — the typical convergence matched the market exactly, and 43% beat it. The average is carried by a small number of large winners, not by being right consistently.

*The three validated put-selling signals — explained in the next section.
Rich premium today VALIDATED
What this means: if any of these is a stock you'd own at the right price,
today is a well-paid day to sell its put. We check three conditions, each
independently validated on ten years of real option quotes — every one, on its
own, earned put sellers more per trade than selling on a random day:
high vol — the options are expensive in absolute terms (IV ≥ 30)
top of its year — premium in the top quarter of that name's own trailing year
post-drop — the stock fell 5%+ this week; protection is being bid
More conditions = a better day. Signal is from last night's close and typically
persists days, not hours — verify the live quote at the open. The example contract
is the shape our validation used: ~40 days out, ~20-delta, held to expiry,
assignment acceptable.

The c8alpha take
The AI and datacenter theme is in a near-unanimous drawdown — semis, datacenters, and grid names almost all moving the same direction. The notable contradiction: AEHR Test Systems, which stress-tests chips going into AI infrastructure, just reported revenue that tripled year over year and raised its full-year guidance, a reminder that manufacturing the hardware is a different business from owning it. Energy is the clearest rotation trade, with oil and gas names leading and a major Eagle Ford acquisition confirming the sector's appetite for scale rather than retrenchment. BSY, a software name, had someone build a concentrated LEAPS position ahead of earnings in three days — almost entirely calls, at more than ten times normal options volume, which shapes like a specific bet rather than routine positioning. AMD reports tomorrow; how it reacts will be the first read on whether the semis tape has found a floor.
